Another episode review

Did the 100th episode live up to all of its promise? Not so much.
This episode, like so many before, like MerDer’s wedding, like this whole frakkin’ season…was all about Izzie Stevens. And IF she actually dies, maybe it’ll all make sense. BUT if she LIVES…this whole episode, this whole season, was a complete waste of time.
Owen/Cristina: Every time Cristina pulled away from Owen, my little shipper heart broke. It’s obvious that she’s just trying to do what he said last week: let her off the hook. Problem is, she doesn’t want to be let off the hook so now she resents him for making her feel like she has to let him go so he can heal. The longing looks at the wedding, Cristina ripping down that stupid fan...Dear writers: Please don’t frak up this couple the way you have with so many of the others. And please, PLEASE don’t make Cristina pregnant in the season finale. Re-write the episode or next season, tell us it was a false-positive. Please?!
Callie/Arizona: They’re adorable but this whole money storyline is idiotic. It should be more about Callie’s sadness over not being accepted by the people she loves and less about her being broke. The only positive side to this storyline is that Arizona is hanging in there. Like Cristina, she doesn’t scare easily and that’s exactly what Callie needs right now. LOVED the cheek kiss. Post-coital…pizza? (I couldn't tell what it was.) But how frakkin’ HOT was that?!
The Wedding: Was nice and very appropriate for Alex and Izzie. Justin and Katherine looked great, George showed up just in time, and Alex’s vows were perfect…BUT…the whole thing was promoted to be MerDer’s wedding day and it wasn’t. Though I don’t particularly care, I feel bad for the MerDer fans who really wanted them to tie the knot after all this time. And even the Alex/Izzie fans got screwed. On their wedding day, Izzie’s still having visions of Denny? Gods these writers don’t like happy couples, do they?
*fingers crossed* that Izzie dies next week so that this entire season wasn't pointless. Ooh...and I hope TR stays and JC returns as Arizona for another season.

Date: 2009-05-11 08:33 pm (UTC)Girl! That 100th epi pissed me the (excuse my french) fuck off! I can't fucking stand Izzie fucking Stevens! I want that bonafide BIOTCH dead ASAP!!! You're absolutely right this season will be a waste (with the exception of Crowen/Calzona) if she doesn't die, so I'll be one hot potato if she doesn't.
Yours broke too? I wanted to cry! I don't care how obvious it was and don't blame her in the least bit for being the way she was towards him, but my lil heart was crushed! The looks only cut me deeper at the wedding because EVERY DAMN BODY were happy except them! And Shonda punk ass tricked us by making it seem like they were going to be happy this episode. THAT, is what pissed me off the most! BITCHES aint shit! I can't even be happy about the kiss because Shonda could be trying to punk Crowen fans again! And to top it off only two people wrote fiction to make me fill better; I was shocked and sad no one else attempted to write something to make fans feel better. As to the pregnant comment... I'm with you. I'm not looking forward to a pregnancy at all nor am I looking forward to them moving in together. I want soemthing real good, not bland and boring. I'll accept the pregnancy before I accept them moving in together and becoming the next MerDer boredom of the show!
ICAM, the wedding was exceptionally nice. Alex's vows were on point and I cried. I won't even lie, as much as I hate Izzie, I have to be happy that Alex found someone he loves even if it is that psycho ghost humper. She'll bite the dust soon enough and then I'll be crying again for him. He always ends up with the looney tunes!
I do feel bad for MerDer fans who've wated ages to see them actually elevate. Yeah their sex scene was cute, but I know they tired of Shonda fucking with them. Shonda better not fuck up Crowen like she did MerDer, we don't have five seasons to play cat and mouse. Nor do Crowen fans have time to wait around for her ass to figure if she wants them to get back together.
I'll keep my fingers crossed with you... two heads are better than one =P

Date: 2009-05-11 10:13 pm (UTC)I PRAY Shonda doesn't ruin my OC but since she's ruined ALL of the other GA couples, I'm not holding my breath.
I do know one thing though...If Izzie DOESN'T die in the season finale, I won't be watching the show next season. I may watch clips of the Owen/Cristina scenes to see how their relationship develops but that's it. I can not sit through one more season of Izzie-I screw dead people-Stevens.
