Sara Bareilles is a goddess
Darn right she is!! I am still in a state of squee from seeing her last week at Lilith Fair! I got goosebumps listening to Uncharted live for the first time! And it may take the number one spot of my favorite Sara song ever. Sorry Undertow, you had a good run! xD Yeah, half my journal is about Sara these days LOL

From what I've heard via YT, Uncharted sounds pretty awesome. It kinda needs to be Sept. already!!!

My favorite Sara song...Thus far, it's a tie between Gravity and Between the Lines. Her lyrics are always exceptional but she took it to a whole 'nother level with those songs :D

YESS I got to see her quite a few times in 2008, and I just got tickets for her Toronto show in Nov. *happy dance* I'm going to do a post with my pictures from Lilith Fair. It was really cool!

The few tracks I've heard from Kaleidoscope Heart, it's gonna be fantastic! Did you see all the good stuff VH1 posted over the last month? I grabbed Uncharted from the Live at VH1 set. (http://mort-aux-vaches.livejournal.com/37511.html) Fricken wonderful! I've been listening to it non-stop!

Yes, Gravity and Between The Lines are both works of beauty. Gravity is the 1st Sara song I ever heard and I didn't even know her! She always finishes her show with it. It's a very emotional song and it's hard for me to listen at times. Mind you I got very emotional listening to KOA too lol. BTL is probably my 2nd favorite. It's hard for me to rank them actually, I love them all for different reasons. I love her jazzy tunes, Vegas is my current ringtone :D She is such a talented person, she's amazing! She's great on stage, very funny and witty, and very approachable too. OK, I'll stop now, I could go on and on for ever xD

I don't usually get fangirly over singers but Sara may be the one exception. I just think she's incredibly talented and if I ever get to see her perform live, I'm sure it'll make the list as one of the best moments of my life :D

It's her heart, man! Her music is an open door to her heart and when she plays, you can feel it! Smaller venues are the best for her music. The House of Blues in Cleveland was my favorite experience, plus I was right there at the stage! Prime photo spot too! Her and KT Tunstall are my favorite live performers, hands down :D

I have rather eclectic tastes in music but my constant is I like mostly female song writers with amazing lyrics and a passion for what they are doing. I love listening to Sara speak, you can feel her passion and it's amazing how one person can convey so much in words and music.
